Fort Langley Artists Group
& Flagstop Gallery
Deborah is delighted to now be a part of the Fort Langley Artists Group (FLAG) and will be participating in exhibitions all summer long with this diverse and dynamic group. The Flagstop Gallery is in Fort Langley's historic CN Station, on the corner of Mavis Avenue & Glover Road. The gallery is operated by FLAG members who volunteer for gallery-minding duties, and therefore the gallery is open weekends and holidays only.
Deborah will be at the gallery on the following dates:
•  Saturday, August 23
•  Sunday, September 27
Gallery hours are 12noon-4pm, weekends and holidays.

Critter Care Wildlife Society Fundraiser

Original illustrations by Deborah Strong, created for the children's book "A Day By the River" are being sold to raise much needed funds for the Critter Care Wildlife Society. There are seven one-of-a-kind illustrations available for sale, framed and ready for hanging (overall size is approx. 12"x16"). They can be viewed by contacting the centre for an appointment: call Maureen Binnie at (604) 530-2054.

Critter Care rehabilitates and releases dozens of orphaned and injured wild mammals each year. For more information about Critter Care, visit www.crittercarewildlife.org.

A Day By the River
This children's book by Mavis Sutton is illustrated by Deborah Strong and is published by the Critter Care Wildlife Society. It is a whimsical story that chronicles the adventures of Bradley the black bear cub and his momma, and their adventures in the forest. The book is priced at $15 and is available directly from Critter Care Wildlife Society: www.crittercarewildlife.org. All proceeds benefit the rehabilitation and release of orphaned and injured wild animals.
