animal portraits

Deborah's lifelike portraits capture each animal's individual personality and spirit. She views each portrait as a chance to to gain an intimate relationship with her subject. Portraits of horses, cats, dogs and other animals are available by commission. Deborah works from photographs and her preferred medium is coloured pencil on illustration board. To assist in capturing the animal's character, Deborah asks that photographs be accompanied by a brief biography of the animal, describing its history, habits and personality.
