Deborah creates lifelike portraits that capture the essence of each animal's individual character, expression and spirit. She views each portrait as an opportunity to connect with her subject in a very personal way, and she takes pride in creating fine pieces of art that are sensitively rendered and highly realistic.   To create a portrait, Deborah requires several photographs and a description of the animal's habits and personality to help her capture its true character. Don't be concerned if your photographs are not the best quality, as long as they show the animal's appearance. If you live nearby, Deborah welcomes the opportunity to meet and photograph the animal, but she also works with many long-distance clients as well as with those whose animals have passed on.
