Coloured pencil; Images size: 7"x11"
These tropical birds, the size
and temperament of a jay or magpie, are renowned for their amazing nests
which
consist of a thatched ball that dangles precariously from high branches.
They are also known locally in Trinidad
as a "yellowtail" for the distinguishing yellow tail
feathers that flash brightly when the bird is in flight.
Original available at Horizons Art Gallery, St. James, Trinidad.
