Sharing & Learning
This past September, I had the pleasure to take part
in an Advanced Silk Painting workshop as part of Maiwa's fall symposium
(for those who don't know, Maiwa is a
well-established textile arts supplier in Vancouver). Over two days I
had the immense pleasure of working with a great group of women who
shared a common interest in learning new techniques for painting on silk
under the guidance of instructor Izabela Sauer. Thanks to Izabela and
all the participants for making it such a great experience! You can be
sure that in the coming months I'll be trying out the great new
techniques I learned. Pictured right is my sample piece created during
the workshop.
