The Watcher
Hand-painted Silk; Image size 10"x28"
There is a pair of eagles that
presides over a wetland park in my area, a place where waterfowl gather year
round.
The eagles' bulky nest is high up in a massive
cottonwood tree.
Early in the spring, before the leaves unfurled,
they take on the work of
refurbishing the nest and preparing, with luck, to raise another family.
